Hi Gram!
Today was a roller coaster of a day! I woke up and felt good, did my journaling and puzzles, then Amber and I went to the gym. We joined today, then I did a good upper body workout. We walked home and had breakfast. With such a positive start to the day, I was feeling productive. So, feeling courageous, I booked a flight, which went as smooth as one would expect. Emboldened, I tried booking a second flight. This was a mistake. I found a flight, got all the way to the payment and hit a brick wall. I’d spend the next couple of hours just trying to give them money for a flight. The website didn’t work.. after my first call to customer service, I downloaded the app and it didn’t work.. on my second call, they tried sending me payment links a few times, each time timing out and failing. Eventually, I gave up and found another ticket that was a little bit more money, but gave me a 3 day layover in Hong Kong. I took a few calming breaths, then the three of us went for a walk.
I needed a yoga mat, so we headed to Sportisimo, a local sporting goods shop. Soon after, I walked out with a new mat and we headed to a restaurant for dinner, Cada de Tudor. It was the best restaurant that I’ve been to in a very long time! There were so many delicious options, I knew I would be coming back. After eating, we were all doubly sure we would return. Amongst the other things, I had a beet salad with horseradish. I wouldn’t have thought to pair those, but it was phenomenal. The atmosphere was nice, the waitress was friendly, the music was eclectic and fun.

After dinner, we stopped by the grocery store next door to check it out and get a few things. We walked out of there with lighter pocketbooks and an armful of little things we needed in addition to the few groceries we went for. Another great find. The walk home was pleasant but cool. We put things away, I brushed my teeth and headed to bed.
