Hi Gram!
My legs are still sore from the gym a few days ago. We decided not to climb Tampa, the tall hill in town, until tomorrow. Instead, it was a slow morning of sleeping in a little, doing some yoga, and eating breakfast. Then we took a bus over to the market where we bought some fruits, veggies and walnuts. I always enjoy riding the bus and watching the city go by.

We had a successful shopping trip, then came back to the apartment to rest my legs and knock out a few tasks. I made a handle out of rope for my yoga mat and worked on my computer for a bit, then went for a walk around town. I just turned left out of the apartment building, then listened to a podcast and let myself get lost. Lots of people were out, being Sunday. I enjoyed seeing people playing chess in the park, lots of little kids getting their energy out, and plenty of lovers walking or sitting hand in hand.
Once I was significantly lost, I checked my maps app and found a way back to the apartment. Amber had returned from her walk, so we all started making dinner. To clarify, when I said “we all” I mean they gave me some veggies to chop while they started cooking. Soon, dinner was ready and we sat down to a delicious hash of onions, peppers, potatoes, and egg with a little sour cream. Another delicious, simple meal of the right proportions.

I did the dishes quick, then we got on a video call with our friends Stacey and Andy. It was great to catch up with them and hear about their travel plans. I look forward to seeing them in January. After the call, it was time for dessert! We broke out the leftovers from last night’s desserts and added cookies and chocolate. Another great ending to a fun day. I could get used to a life like this!
