Hi Gram!
I’m off to Prague today! I woke up before my alarm, excited for my trip, but with a list of tasks to get done before I flew. I stripped the bed, did my puzzles and journal, and took a shower, then threw a load in the laundry and had my breakfast. I did a few more last minute things, double checked my luggage, and got in some flights of stairs, ready to start this journey. My friend Bethany arrived early to clean the house for the next guests, and it was good catching up with her before leaving.

The drive to the airport was uneventful. I dropped the rental car off, took the shuttle, and breezed through security. I was a few hours early, so instead of just sitting around, I got in some steps walking around the airport. I found an alfajore at one of the shops, reminding me of the delicious treats I enjoyed in South America. It was dry and not nearly as good as the ones that were fresh baked, but it brought back memories all the same.

The flight was delayed because of some thunder storms earlier in the day, but we finally got in the air about an hour late. My layover in Toronto was scheduled to be about 2.5 hrs, so I should still have time to catch the longer leg to Prague. I got to YYZ with enough time to charge my phone, fill my water bottle and board the plane. The flight was uneventful. I watched a movie, read a little, dinner was decent. Slept a little.
