The Stories of This Vagabond

Sore Legs

Hi Gram!
I was sore when I woke up today – my legs were killing me. I don’t know what it was about those stairs yesterday, but we were all feeling it today. I took my time getting up out of bed, then went and walked the stairs here at the building. I got in 30 floors, then took a quick shower and headed down to breakfast. I’ve been sitting outside for all of the meals where it’s quieter and peaceful. It’s been so nice. After breakfast, the day went very similar to most CampFI’s – a couple of speakers, in this case it was Joe Saul Seahy then Pete, who both had great talks. Then we headed to lunch, again outside.

Then a breakout session. Today we talked about unconventional living arrangements such as international slow travel or the RV life. I headed outside for some walks around the pond and discussions, then headed to the room for some recharging of my social battery before dinner. At dinner, I talked about my TBI and accident, about skydiving, and Nicole had some good questions for the group about what we all think each person should experience in their life. At 7, we went inside for some case studies and comedy, then played games for a bit. Around 10, I decided to go to bed.
