Hi Gram,
I had a great day today! I woke early and went for a walk right away. I messaged David to see if he wanted to come with, but he’d woken even earlier and was just getting back from a walk. He was worried about Ashley. She’s in Ecuador and he hadn’t talked to her in a day and a half. Luckily, a few minutes after I talked with him, she messaged. There’s lousy internet at the hostel on the side of a volcano where she’s staying, and they only turn it on for 2 hrs a day. She’s having a great time, though.

He had seen monkeys on his walk, who came at him and tried to attack when he attempted to get video of them. Aware of that, I saw some on my walk and crossed to the other side of the street. Monkeys here are assholes. I got back from my walk and had a really productive FinTalks session. I got to chat with Amberly and Lawrence briefly at the end of the call, which made me super happy. After the call, I started to do “one quick thing” on my computer before breakfast and hoo boy, did that start a productive day! I got the website tuned in, created some new designs, cleared up some flotsam and jetsam, and learned a little about Shopify. Time flew past, and before knew it, David and I were going to lunch.

I love that we just walk and find a restaurant to try each day. Today’s was no disappointment! A nice view, tasty food, good conversation. After lunch, I came back and got more done on the website for the afternoon. As evening was starting to set in, we walked over and had dinner with a bunch of friends. John and Linda drove up from where they live an hour away, and we got to see Erin, her friend Theresa, and Amy and Matthew. The food was good, more great conversation as we all caught up on each other’s lives, and before you knew it a few hours had flown by. After saying our goodbyes, David and I walked back to the hotel, where I got a few last things done and went to bed
